Shit, most Americans couldn't find Hong Kong on a map.

Hahaha yeah, but you are falsely accusing the education system for the inability to differentiate between all the different Asians. Its not that a average American cannot distinguish their culture's, of course "he" can. Its just that Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese look so damn identical, as well as their writing system. Distinguishing them at a first glance is what's hard.
It would be like getting mad at people for frequently calling Canadians, Americans, then blaming it on the education system O.o.

Just the
public
school system, Todlich. What do you expect? Most other government services fail just as hard. Medicare comes to mind.

I mean cmon, its really hard to distinguish "foreign people" for anyone. Can you distinguish a Zimbabwean from a Angolian? Hell no, so why should it be easier to distinguish a Japanese person from a Chinese? (visually speaking)
Its not offensive
at all
(or at least it shouldn't be), that's just normal.

It's like languages. I can't tell the difference between a London or Liverpool accent. I can't understand either
.
Or the differences between Cuban Spanish, and Mexican Spanish! (When I went to Mexico, my friend told her friends that I spoke Cuban Spanish. They were all like: OH! That's why your Spanish is different!)

Yeah. Sounds horrible. My dad says they sound like women.
Edit: Whoops! Thinking Puerto Rican Spanish.
As for your question, yes I have heard Venezuelan Spanish.
In Memphis, the Hispanic community is very tight-knit. My Mom, for example, is married to a Cuban, best friends with a Mexican, good friends with a Dominican, two Mexicans, and a Puerto Rican.

Oh thats equally as awful
. I just find it hilarious how Venezuelans "sing" everything, they also tend to raise their voice (very subtle) in the middle of a sentence, and then ALWAYS leave off the endings.
Like a big crescendo then a diminuendo.

I said one thing about Japan and I'm expected to spam?
I'm so honored, stumpy, especially after I pwned u in that one game!...i think. Or was that the one I got pwnt in and lost a whole company? i dunno.
All I know is that there is a difference between Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Korea.
However, since stumpy wants it so much (ya im calling u that from now on u f00) -

It's actually a really cool vid. The soldier has an amazing artistic skill. He probably used gimp or photoshop filters in some cases but even so, DAMN he did a great job.
And that's why America>ur mom. and japan. and puerto rico. and spain. and catalan. and stumpy.
