So i wanna start getting into EiR again after my long hiatus and suddenly my lag is making games unplayable. I'm not sure if i was in games with people that it just wasn't to be or if its my internet giving me trouble but if anyone has had lag issues and solved them i'd like to know how. I'm running windows xp pro, have all firewalls and anti-vir stuff disabled for games, and have my routers firewall off but still have massive lag issues. Does anyone know what ports CoH uses and if that could possibly be the problem? Just hopin i can get it fixed shortly so i can rejoin the war =D

My personal lag problems where due to my settings being too high. So I dropped everything as low as they go. My computer isn't very good. Lags gone now though.

Yeah I had massive lag when I returned to CoH again. I made sure I had all 3 ports open so make sure you check that as well. I also use diskeeper and nod32. Nod32 I had to disable a few things because it was scanning through CoH files, and with diskeeper it runs a program that connects to the internets as well as constantly scans so I had to disable that in the task manager. I also killed a few other tasks that I didn't need just to be sure, then it was fixed.

Do you only have the lag with 2vs2s and more?
I used to have horrible lag issues, uninstalling my anti-virus (Panda anti virus at the time) completely solved the issue...
(Just disabling it didn't work.)
