Anyone use it? It's always seemed like such a badass T4. Kind of a perfect "Oh shit!" button. Don't think your dual schreck grens will take down that croc fast enough? click IA and take it down with ease. also when used with first aid and basic supply you won't have to worry too much about the units dying, just making them stationary while they get healed. Anyone have experience with it? If not I plan on making a new company to give it a whirl.

i used it last war

i once had a gren squad with lmg down to 2 men and a half dead volks squad slaughter two squads of rushing Airborne with it

It's one of those situational tier 4's. Comes in very handy at times and rather useless at others.

Ferocity is a very powerful T4 if you know how to use it. It's similar to Conviction. You just need to know when to use it.

I also forgot that zeal is in the T2 before this, so even if you do take losses while using IA, it will only make you stronger.

I know regular IA is not too handy, as I used it very rarely in my other terror company. I can't tell if it affects AT guns or not? If it doesn't then I feel that I should rely more on schrecks then AT guns.

I also never field more then 3 AT guns, I open with 1 and have 2 more in reserve.

IA doesnt affect AT guns

3 is a good number though cause I take 3 AT guns too

It doesn't affect AT guns, although it does make Shreks death dealing monsters.

I ask about AT guns, because I was wondering if it would be in best interest to replace the AT guns with double schreck gren squads, or even giving single shrecks to 4 gren squads. But at the same time, nothing beat the cloaking ability of the paks.

It does affect AT guns, unless the aura that pops up around my cloaked pak and the death of a tank shortly after that means that the crew wanted to use tungsten shells out of nowhere.

   Ferocity is awesome, my shrecks my lmgs can completely annihilate tanks and infantry.

IA and ferocity are *very* situational - I run a zeal company that relies heavily on to-the-last-man stands to out-attrition vetted rifle companies, the thing about IA is that it honestly have very little effect on basic infantry like volks or grens.   Without upgrade, the benefits (slightly faster firing speed) are usually very much outweighed by the recieved accuracy penalties.

If you run a company heavy on LMGs then by all means, its BEASTLY - But if you have a small number of very upgraded squads and then a metric fuck-ton of volks or grens (like I do), it's a good way to blow your wad early on.   I recommend using it only in a situation where you outnumber your opponent 2 to 1 and they have you outgunned and out-vetted.   At that point you're gonna lose tons of guys anyhow, but most players who baby their vet will see IA pop on 6 squads of volks and head for the hills.

Its all about how much you're willing to sacrifice to hurt the other guy.   Personally, I'm willing to give a whole lot Wink


As to ferocity - it really seems like a waste of a t4 to me - I run a subversion company right now with t3 V1 and its pretty crazy how effective it is in 2v2s - it has  PROFOUND impact on the game.  I'm really not seeing that from ferocity popping ideally once every 8 minutes - I'd really like to see what the stats are on ferocity, since all it says in the tool-tip is "increased potency".   Frankly, that's kinda vague - Is it like a 20% increase? or are we talking like 200%

With the other terror T4s they have a very real and obvious affect on the game - Heavy Support gives you a major sight/range/health advantage on all your support teams(mgs paks mortars snipers), and it stacks with advanced munitions which is suppression + damage buffs for MGs - you want to see this one used effectively?   Talk to 12, he's nuts with it.     German Steel is another crazy one, making axis armor (which is alredy pretty damn survivable) even more so - its T3 is firestorm, which after the latest patch is nothing to sneeze at.    I dunno, ferocity seems like the red headed step child - It has major disadvantages....   Just talking at this point Smiley

I saw a sherman try to run over a 2 man shrek squad.

He popped ferocity and that sherman never even had a chance.

Yes, I keep repeating this incident because it has made me want to go ferocity terror.

yes I'm curious, it doesn't show up on coh-stats but everyone is saying their AT guns work fine.

im curious are they stock AT guns? or are they recrewed with volks or grens? not sure if it would make a difference or not.
