Every time you need to get your map files in a new directory, COPY THEM.  Moving them only causes problems and will corrupt the map files. |

If the map is corrupted, you have to start over again, unless you have a backup, or if you have a stamp of it.  Either way, you need to start a new map file. |

I think you should be able to move the map files wherever you want.  You just need to go open them again from the "File" -> "Open" menu in worldbuilder.
If that doesn't work, try putting them back where they were before and loading them.

Just give it a shot.  Warbirds may be right about corruption, but then again I have never been able to reproduce his strange WB bugs.

Lolto can confimr that bug happens, watch his video map tutorial.
And I think the map files have to be in coh/ww2/data/scenarios to work.  Not sure.

K, I'll take your word for it, Warbirds.  However, I do know that you can create subfolders within the data\WWII\scenarios folder and it will still work.  E.g I had a scenarios\mp\WIP folder and my files worked.

so i save them in my coh/ww2/data/scenarios/ folder. Or do i have to make it coh/ww2/data/scenarios/mp. because i think my problem was i saved them in coh/ww2/data/scenarios/mp but thats where my custom maps were that were finished and it was trying to also load my unfinished maps aswell. So my guess is that i can do this coh/ww2/data/scenarios/"Subfolder here". i just want to make sure because losing another map will end my mapping days for a long time, lol. |

Well it shouldn't matter where in the data/scenarios folder you put it.  As long as everything has unique filenames I'm not sure I understand how it could be trying to load other maps. |

I'm getting problems again, sorry for the lack of understanding but i wanna try to get it right.
I am able to use CoH launcher until i export the map, once i export the map so i am able to test it i cant open CoH launcher. I save my maps under :c\program files/THQ/ coh/ww2/data/scenarios/mp. Do my CoH launhcer maps go in the same place? Do any map files go under my documents/games/CoH/ ETC?

If it is unclear what i wrote up there all im asking is where should i save my maps and where should i put my COH launcher maps.

Maps that are for vCoH/OF go into C:\Program Files\THQ\CoH\WW2\Data\Scenarios\MP. You need to enable -dev mode to play them, by editing your shortcut and adding the " -dev" argument in the target path. EiR maps need to go to the C:\Program Files\THQ\CoH\EiR\Archives file path.  To play them you need to add: archive.42 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\players_mapname That's only for now.  If another map gets added, you will need to change it to. archive.43 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\players_mapname I hope I've helped.     Edit:  Don't package your maps with the World Builder exporter.  Use Corsix Mod Studio to do that.  Watch Lolto's map tutorials if you need help with that part, though. |

Make sure you're using the Invasion of Normandy .module.  The EiR .module will not work for WB. |

Please upload your map files in a .zip to filefront.  Then we can download and see if we can read them.  If no, the files are somehow corrupted; if yes, then something is wrong with your CoH installation. |
