Bought it an hour ago, installation is taking terribly long.

In other news, i am going to be rolling a PvE'er on Wiccana, And a PvP'er on Deatwhisperer so i can fuck those goonheim people up.

Well, since I'm sitting here waiting for a game(and no one wants to be on my team), I guess I'll give my 2 cents if it matters.

The game is pretty fun, and the combat system is fairly refreshing for an MMO. However, like anthony210 said, there is no repercussion to dying. You'll even usually see people drowning themselves to get to closer respawn points to their quests. On top of that, there seems to be a lot of bugs that oddly got left in. Like in Fields of the Dead it sounds like you're running on water in an open field. You'll also come across loads of bugged quests in the Noble District of Aquilonia. The PVP sadly has flaws as well, with people insta-sprinting the sign they see they're losing. If they're a stealth class, they'll usually just go *poof* and you'll never see them again(the stealth detection is shoddy at best). A regular Keyser Söze. There's also some pretty overpowered classes, but this is to be expected on release.

Other than the problems I listed, it seems to be a fairly interesting game. Worth checking out.

Train your Perception up, its a flat 50/50 as far as I have noticed vs equal hide skill.

Stuck in euro servers.

Wildsoul and Soulstorm for anyone interested.

A little thing on sneaking, and finding people. I have specced highly in searching skill so rarely get jumped (a lot of people will never totally spec hiding as it isn't needed) and they never get away if they attempt to hide. The class I play can pin targets, and while it doesn't last long it's enough to stop them running away (especially as they waste stamina trying). I also have a lot of running and endurance skills so can nearly always outrun them (with a handy stamina potion) and slash them in the back (which slows them more).

I only ever had trouble with one assassin who would constantly circle so I couldn't get him with my specialty comboes, but after I realized my pin did work he was pretty easy to take down.

Thing that annoys me is people going for kills right after you have been fighting, and there is no chance to fight back properly (pvp or pve area).
Also pairs of higher levels getting easy kills on lower levels. I'll often party quickly with another near me and step up to kill them if I see it happening, always gives them a shock (often times attempting to then run themselves)

Find the game overall quite enjoyable. Time will tell if it's worth a subscription.

I've been playing it alittle, is there any actuall gains from pvp kills ? And yeah, if an Assasin specs into poison stance he doesn't need to use combos in pvp as long as you dont heal. But still only played on level 30 assasin.

Well, I just sold my game off on ebay.

Yes, it is worth the money.

No, you will not always experience a smooth game, but fun still.

So why did I sell it? Constant crashes every time I fight more than 2 guys or there is excessive blood spatter.  Angry

I used to get a shitload of lag spikes randomly (good computer, broadband, other games fine) but they have worked a lot of the kinks out of it since release.

I occasionally "stall" for a few seconds when I fatality someone so maybe there is a problem with the client keeping the animations/effects in memory.

High system requirements, same old quests, same old classes, no death penalty, to easy to level

Great visuals, good quest stories, combat is interesting and varied; the no death penalty and ease of levelling might be bonuses for some people.

Cons: Not finished, buggy.

Pros: Fairly rapid patching and starting to add content.
