I just checked out some maps in skirmish and they seem great to try out.
Maps like St Come du Mont, Lengfeld, St Winn, Airfield, Westfalen i think would be really fun to play and i know i dont do justice to everyone as i havent tried all maps.
I just think we need to move on pass the typical carentan, crossroads, abbeville which of course are great but are just so overplayed, and to give a chance to some of the maps that may really be great fun.

Lengfeld for instance has a similar lay out to Bastion with a concentrated urban area in centre but with more free space, more room to breathe and move.

If more people would make more effort in downloading more maps and giving them a try i think it would be worth it. One of the reasons anyway people Eir think has come to a stale is because people play all the time the same maps.

Btw the mapack is outdated, but you need to download each of them separately because they get updated very often.
So make an effort and lets give a chance to the hard work our mapping creators and moderators have done.

Waiting on Ucross to give us a heads up on .module updates now that fl- is gone.

I'm sure he'll just follow fl-'s plans in regards to custom maps, we just need to give him some time to get things organised.
Then we can add more maps to the .module and continue our dedication to the EIR mapping project. I'm on a timeout though, got exams now and  taking a long vacation after that. Wink

Airfield is kinda broken btw, I'll look into it some day.
