drop and abandon etiquette

What is the proper procedure for when one person lags and drops out of a 3v3, or 2v2 for that matter. Just had this game
In other news: In a light engagement the 679th Blitzkrieg (Draken15), 625th Defensive (leiarde25) and 12th Terror (AfterEffect) divisions broke through our lines and captured more territory, pushing our 62nd Infantry (supahpingi), 9th Infantry (speigas) and 131st Airborne (DoitonaDonkey) divisions aside. Our troops are having trouble remaining optimistic due to the growing number of lost of territories and men.
Where supahpingi lagged and dropped, All the allies were under the impression that we would rehost, if not abandon the game. However, the axis stayed in game killing some units and then taking the win. Is this considered fair play here in EiR?

yea, they did that to us too. In actually fact, they vote kicked our 3rd allie and kept playing. I think if this continues they need an official warning.

Matters on how long the game is going, official rule is 5 minutes, good conduct is 10.
After that lag out most likely means win for the opposite team.
(And sure, don't play with them.
I believe THEY are causing the lag, and then kick others that lag aswell.)*

We were not even done with setting up yet, so it was under 3 min. Battle # 3853 here is the link to DL the game

Important to note here that the player dropped and they requested a rehost before even the 3 minute setup time had concluded, all the allied players dropped and started a rehost but the axis stayed in the game until past the 5 minute mark so the game would count in their favor
*this* is the highest form of bullshit, these are the two top-XP'd companies in EIR right now by almost 2,000XP EACH - That game grabbed them another 400xp/player and pushed their companies up even higher
With high ranked players like this I think a standard needs to be set, otherwise we run into the "Brad" phenomenon where people who noob stomp or abuse mechanics end up as players with unstoppable companies through the sheer amount of Vet

Donkey,
go to my documents, my games, company of heroes, playback, and rename the temp.rec file to something else - then post in this thread and click "additional options" below the text box, and attach the file there so we can see it.

Watched the replay, SupahPingi lagged out 2:30 into the defensive setup time, the rest of the allied team dropped maybe 30 seconds later and said "rehost"
if the game counted (which according to the OP it did) then the axis team would have had to stay in the game literally 6 more minutes with no opponents and then drop, apparently thats what they did since the game counted
Can Lai comment on this please?

I think we're already past the time for official warnings, these are not new players nor are they poor players - They're abusing the system to farm XP

IN the fourms EIR states that "You are esponsable for your own conneciton" multiple times.
YEa this ain;t the right thing, Once it hits 5 mins i never abandon no matter what.
But at the same time, reading up on the rules and the multiple threads and the repeated phrase"you are responsable for your own conneciton" i cna see how people would feel.
PLus.
Retreat your units off the field. Make sure they are off before 5 mins. If the game ends it doesn;t report. heck, kill off that at gun with a mortor if you have to, it won;t matter because eveyrthign will be reset and everythign will be alive.

i cant really blame smokaz i mean playing against puddin is like trying to fight off breast cancer. You might win and do it and be a bad ass but you'll feel sick and mutilated forever.

Man i'm not playing for XP, place in leaderboard etc. And i don't play stacked games. Just look at my wins kd/ratio and ask ppl. I think u should agree with this cuz i don't think anybody will do something with that. When i played with rahx many times everybody dropped and axis team loosed (when game was us). Dunno why we are loosin when everybody drops from the game. I loosed 3 games in this way :-/
