Played a game on crossroads a few minutes ago. It was Mountainman and myself against Duvka and Generic. A decent ways into the game Mountainman thought one of them was using the assault nades glitch, told me to drop, and now I'm posting the replay. I don't fully understand how the glitch works, so I can't really say much other than there was a lot of assault nade usage, but I figure I'd post it, regardless. See what you guys think.

Battle number 3950

Shame about the ending, it would have been a good game.

Yeah, to be honest I'm going to be annoyed about that game glitch or not. If so, mad cause I lost units to that crap, and if not, mad cause we didn't get to finish a good game...Was pretty sure we had you guys, I had a lot of stuff left, and you guys seemed to be low on AT.

It was a missunderstanding, Mountainman didnt know that; Grenadiers can throw up to 6 nades, and Volks can throw up to 8 for one use.

Someone told me to post up my volks: http://i30.tinypic.com/30mxqau.jpg

Yeah, to bad the game ended. Dont think we where that low on AT considring we still had the KT Tongue, and i had a pak and schreks to call in.

Throwing away someone else's opinion isn't going to make yours any more valid.

Indeed. Other people may have the same opinion as you, but it is still yours. There are people who don't think that. I think allied grenades on Airborne and Rangers are pwn for their price, and there are some that don't. Really doesn't change anything. They aren't going to change anything before 2.0.

which would you rather have, the normal grenadier nade at 40 muni or the assault nade at 60?

Quite obviously Assault Nades, but I'd also have to waist one of my Tier 3 for the choices. Honestly, it's like asking would you rather have two Shermans for 560 fuel or one Pershing for 650 or whatever it is. It's obvious, and the price for it is cheap now that it owns Panthers and is decent AI, but it is a T3, so it is balanced enough.

4 uses of nades, You can hurt multiple squads cause you get 2 uses so on 4 man squads of grens, it can kill em off.

If you see them assult nadding, its quite obvious, run away 1 squad, they will chase the 1 sqads, Kill the people following them tryign to assult nade the,m...

You're right, why would anyone choose an ability that breaks suppression and tosses 600% more grenades than the base grenade, all for a minimal munitions cost?

That's crazy, right?

yeah but if you choose assault nades, then you are bypassing joint operations, or a tiger, or the other thing on the left hand tree. i would never get assault nades simply because i rather have a tiger or increased pop cap.

My available companies:
Allies:
*AB company going for raid assault
  Infantry going for tank reapers
Axis:
*Defensive going for rocket artillery
  Blitz going for lightning war
And an experimental Terror company going for subversion consisting of all volks and two King Tigers

so Assault isn't a good choice because you don't get the other tier 3s?

Can't the same be said for all tier 3s in general?

im pretty sure that's the point he's making. ive never used it, so I don't really have an opinion on it, I just know I think I'd rather have a tiger or increased pop cap.
