And can we add dawn?

EDIT: just downloaded to verify.  St. Lambert is in the Beta mappack and Dawn is in the final mappack.

well been playing with people who claim to have gotten the map pack and i guess they are getting the wrong one or something cause lambert and sometimes radar are not in there along with dawn...

perhaps make only 1 map pack, have the beta maps in idividual downloads so the influx of new people are not confused by 2 different map packs? 


And anyone wanna help teach mapping to some people?  Perhaps set up a class time where someone can take some time, have 3-45 peopel sit in a channle and help map and help teach otehrs as well, because with 2.0 on umm... uncertain terms the maps can really make a huge difference, even with 2.0 comming otu whenever havign 5-10 mappers able to release maps with new ideas and such able to make multiple maps, maybe even getting that flash map with the advanceing fronts or somethign working.  I would love to learn how to map, jjust it overwhelms me.

While being a nice gesture, Puddin, I'm sure that anyone who can follow simple instructions can at least try after watching Lolto's videos.  Though it could certainly be arranged to be done, I'm not sure who would want to be the 'teacher'.

I would be mapping, but i seem to have a problem with my World Builder and too lazy to research it and find out how to fix it. Apperently, my object editor is empty...

Yes. The old mappack had dawn 1.8, the last Beta. I finalized a few days after it's release. PLEASE update the old mappacks.

Thanks for updating the map packs. I can safely say most of the community appreciates what you're doing.


And as for the teaching how to map, I'll set up some classes if you want sometime next week. I apologize about the delays, I've got to go to a leadership conference. When I decide the times, I'll start a thread about it and see if Kolath can sticky it so you won't miss it.

That's what I thought.  Okay, but just so I am crystal clear... the current final map pack listed in the map database sticky: Is that the correct version of Dawn? Yes/No?

I used the version that is linked in the MapDB quote.
