how can one play forged alliance without balance mods....
SC was far better than the addon, even the texture resolution of the new units is at best 80% of the old unit's.
I would love playing games like supreme commander with a community, but fa, no, I'd rather ignore that opportunity.

ok, how does one go about doing that when gpg went and had a link patch update SC to FA.  the only way i see is by doing fresh installs and not patching via gpgnet.  and then only play hamachi games.

ARE YOU MAD. SC better than forged alliance!?!?! wow. Honestly I don't know how you can play supreme commander and dislike forged alliance. The economy in fa is VASTLY superior to supcom, mainly because it actually has one, and its not like playing sim city.

Pengu, totally agree with you, but there is those players that enjoy turtling, so they prefer the old resourcing system, it did provide for a better defense.
