I think i've improved. I've lost a bit lately because i"ve been testing some new strategies. I'm trying to see if I can work with Airborne but I just can't seem to win a game so I think I'm going to be through with them. I'm ok with Armor but I'm pretty good with infantry if I play with an aggressive player I do well but when I get someone who sits back and just tries to hold ground I eventually lose.

I stuck with Axis...never playing against, lost all games with them and lost horribly lmao.

Hopefully we're still on defense when I get home I wanna try something  Grin Grin

I love to sing-a
About the moon-a and the June-a and the Spring-a.
I love to sing-a
About a sky of blue-a or a tea for two-a,
Anything-a with a swing-a to an I love you-a.
I love-a to, I love-a to sing!

I've lost most of my games this war since I keep playing with new people or people who aren't good, or when I play against stacked teams.  The last thing I listed is what usually ends up happening.

Its odd, you all say AmPm yells alot.  That can be said of myself as well.  So consider this, AmPm and I when playing in 2v2's, never yell at each, in fact we compliment each other so well, the vent convo goes something like this, in a normal tone, "dude, i am about to fire the calli, can  you send a squad to scout/bait." "sure, one sec" "firing" "nice hit dude" "hey i am getting rushed, could you send some help" "you got it, croc/sherm on the way"

its really odd, come listen sometime, you will be surprised

I would pay to see that! (well hear it) because every time I play with crono, even when we are doing good, there is still yelling from him myself as well.

Any ways, I know I have improved because before EiR I only played comp stomps, because anytime my friend and I would play against people they would just either exploit the map or make so much cake that it wouldnt be a real game. So playing against people using real tactics has improved me a lot, now when I play vanilla I kick other peoples ass.

Only people who suck at them hate 1vs1s. I'm sure everyone else will agree that they're one of the most challenging parts of COH. Especially in vCOH.

Usually it just means you're afraid to play on your own, it's quite confronting to play 1vs1s without anyone else backing you up... I used to have that too, but it's well worth getting into. Wink

I never liked 1v1s because there are less tactics at your disposal, you can focus on different things and make the most of some units. Also in 2v2 and up you can blame everyone but yourself!  Cheesy

I would love to have a 1v1 community tourney, I can keep stats if need be, and if we get some of the community to put forth some money into a paypal acct, we could do some sort of prize, would be fun.

Same here. It seems all the n00bs end up playing on the allies side.
(I'm Tymathee BTW)
usually when i play later in the day though (after Cool i get some better players but a lot of the best axis players are on also so..eh. But at the same time, it seems like even skilled, axis will beat the allies 7 out of 10 times. I usually win by bleeding them dry. I've only won one match where the axis brought otu a tiger, but usually if the other side brings one out, it's kinda over, especially in the hands of a skilled axis player that has it with good support.

Doubt it, I doubt Salan has much 1vs1 vCOH experience, and that's what would matter.

Lai would probably win, or duvka.

I remember last war when velocity, me and ampm played a 3v3 as axis.
We lost the game, and he was like why you didnt do this, and why you didnt do that, lol. I found it funny but i remember us saying wtf, he played in the game too.

Anyway, now i can sympathise with him, i get to bitch sometimes in game as well..(sorry to those they had to put up with that Tongue)
Its all part of the game's tension and rush of the moment.
But that incident was funny.
