The reason most of the world tends to poke at the americans(i.e.: America vs china, america versus europe, america versus hispanic, etc etc etc) is because americans tend to start the topics.

As for the original question: I don't think it matters if you are american or european, its a matter of personal taste and culture. People in lower economical classes are usually not fond of etiquette, while just because you use betetr fabrics doesn't necessarily mean you dress well.

A reason for saying europeans are better dress could be the fact that almost ALL western fashion is based or derived from european design.

On a sidenote I agree with the mexican dude about americans starting issues, in what i think a childish way of arguing whos better than the other, and whos not and bla bla (im not aiming this at this thread, just in general)

Also i cant help but see the irony of discussing dressing among a community of warmongers! lol

First off That pic is true but Half the women around here where I live look exactly like the European, other than the fact they try and wear clothes. The other half are 25%Fat or 25% Anerexic(Excuse me I don't know how to spell it)

I do agree with the fact Americans start everything. They are taught (seriously I hear it in school all the time) that the only threat to America is:
1. Russia
2. Al Quieda(Excuse my Spelling)
3. The Earth Ending
     Well mainly the reason for this conflict of stereotypes is the arrogance of some people getting into an international conflict of words. They bring in another side of people who say something. I blame Arrogant people for the Stereotype problem. I am at fault too, we all are.

I started the topic because as American as I am, being from the midwest afterall, which in itself is an oxymoron, I am in the middle of the damn country, I tend to like German women, something about the accent and them being so damn SMOKIN HOT!!
Alas, I will need to go over there to find myself a HOT German girl, but I bring her back here and its all good

HAHAHAHAHAHAH, europeons being work-aholics!  France just a few years ago went to a 38 hour work week.  Remember, this land of the free some of us live in, isnt free at all.  We have major corporations that believe more in there bottom line than they do in peoples unalienable rights.  They also believe in making the rich richer and the poor so poor they cant even eat.  Ah, the conservative dream, the people are pregnant, hungry, and without shoes, and to top it off keep them distracted with forms of media so dull and dumb that they get fixated and get apathetic to there liberties being demolished in front of them.

See the thing that most Europeans don't understand is the fact that loads of Americans hate America as much as the next guy, it's the kind of hate you could only have for someone you love though, like a drunken father. You may hate him, but hey, he's your father, and he's the only one you got. I on the other hand, just simply hate people in general, I hate that people idolize celebrities so much that they think the people actually deserve to live in mansions while there are people living in cardboard boxes.

Have you ever been to Germany? Personally I have been to many, many countrys and one thing that gets me when I come back is how consistently stylish and sexy British girls are when I am in the airport (Especially Heathrow or Gatwick), no matter where you go you always think "Ah girls here are fitt" but when you get home, its like stepping into Avalon.. My last girlfriend was a black cockney, it don't get much hotter than that.

Oh and the worst place for girls that I have been to is probably Botswana, even the fit ones have HIV...

I contracted it 300 times... Really though; it is just statistical and if you have ever stopped at a blue hat camp they will throw statistics at you. And I can tell you its harder to find a condom in Botswana than it is to find a flying mobile. Its not like here where every toilet, hospital, collage, shop, school and public office has a few of their own free-to-take condom stacks, I dunno about job centers but youth centers and teen support offices give you a package every time you go containing five condom packets.
