E3 itself failed.  The games shown were cool and all, but E3 failed.

I'm curious as to how E3 fails unless you actually went there? The whole point of E3 is to get info on all the upcoming games which seems like we got more trailers and game play footage then most could handle. Though I was REALLY hoping for the release of some demos for the games that are being released in the fall.

It's not so much that E3 failed, just that it's so different from what it used to be.  It used to be the place where every day something 'big' could be announced and you could end up blown away.  Now, the games are announced when they feel like it and E3 is becoming less 'exciting' (for lack of a better word) because everything that is shown at E3 people know about.

Not saying it's bad though, I still enjoy all the videos and whatnot that come from it a ton.

I didn't know about FarCry 2, or a few other ones.

Main games I'm looking at are Left for dead and End War.
