i wanted to know if its possible to play europe in ruins battles over hamachi, then there wouldnt be any trouble with cd keys and the game should be smoother!

For anyone who doesnt know what hamachi is, it is a program that can create a virtual network for people to join allowing them to play over LAN instead of needing an online account!

Let me hear what you all think about it because i would definitely consider it! it will most likely bring an influx of players to europe in ruins as well as i know many people who do not own the game themselves but play over LAN using hamachi with the game installed on their computers from the same disc therefore eliminating the need for an online account.

We play on hamachi sometimes so yes it's possible to get a battle played on hamachi.

However the majority of the people play on Relic Online as this is probably the easiest method for finding and setting up games. (Most players can't be bothered to download a program when they can use Relic Online)

Pure hamachi use would also promote illegal copies of the game to be used and thats not really what we're aiming for.

This mod has the support of Relic. By supporting the use of hamachi as a means to avoid the need to buy CoH will probably lose us Relic's support.

Unless he wants to play with his brothers using the same CD-KEY. But you do not need hamachi for that, and this is illegal as well.

er you clearly didnt read my post correctly... i said i would play on LAN not over hamachi :/ since when is installing a copy of the game on all your home computers a crime?
