I went over to a friend's house earlier tonight for a LAN party and played 1 game of EiR while they were setting up their stuff. Of course, I used vent for it, and now I'm back at my house with an annoying, seemingly easy to fix problem, but so far everything I've tried hasn't worked.

So what happened, was while I was there, I brought my computer but not my monitor. I used a friend's monitor. That monitor had higher resolution than my 1 at home. When I played EiR, I moved vent to the far right side of the screen. Now that I'm home, vent is still over, beyond the border of my screen. I can't get to it, can't click on it, or anything. I managed to start it in maximized mode but I can't get it in a simple window.

I tried right clicking it in the taskbar and using the "move" command, but you need to click on the window for that to work. I tried going to the setup, overlay, and putting screen location to bottom left corner, but apparently that refers to something else. I even tried reinstalling but even that didn't move the screen. So, anyone have any suggestions for my incredibly fail-fuck retarded problem?

Do you have a widescreen monitor?

No, I don't. The one I was using at my friend's house was, though. I suppose if it comes to it I could get him to bring me his monitor but I would think that someone knows a really fast fix to this that should only take like 5 seconds.

I have now also tried increasing my computer's resolution but it won't allow my to select a value high enough to reach any part of ventrilo.

Anyway, I may aswell say now I'm going to be gone for about a week. I probably won't have much access to internet if any, so I might have to fix this when I get back. So anyway, bye everyone.

Couldn't you go into task manager, then select vent and then click on "switch to" and shouldn't it pop up right in the middle of the screen?

Change your screen resolution to a widescreen format, move vent to middle, switch back.

I tried right clicking it in the taskbar and using the "move" command, but you need to click on the window for that to work.

When you select move you should be able to use the arrow keys to move it.
