...There is no such thing as vet hunting. Unless there is an option to capture units then anything on the field no matter where it is going or how dammaged it is, is fair play. TLS is a war.

Actually with the lack of availability in, just playing a game with the sole purpose of killing specific veteran units would be considered vethunting. (Usually accompagnied by large amounts of suicidal non-vet unit rushes as there's no punishment for this in place anymore.)

The thing was I wasn't doing suicidal rushes I just found it and went for it. I only lost 1 airborne squad in attacking the tiger.

Shouldn't the sole purpose of this game be kill everything the enemy has?
I get tired of people using the term vet hunting like it is an excuse for whenever you lose something.

The purpose of the game is to win, not to kill everything the enemy has because you rarely kill full squads to begin with. Some people will play a game just with the sole purpose of killing your vet units and/or aggrevating the shit out of their opponents  . Now stop being a bodybag. |

I know that vet hunting is a taboo around here but people seem to have forgotten what vet hunting really is. It isn't chasing down a unit that is going back to be off mapped or repaired. It is designing a company with the sole purpose of inflicting as many casualties as possible regardless of whether said person wins or losses, and no regard for their own units. When there is a crippled tank running away that I've spent resources on I'm going to try and kill it, because it killed my stuff I'm going to kill it. Many a time I've seen that accused as "vet hunting" which it isn't this term has been thrown around so much that the original meaning has been lost. That is all I'm saying. PS. Lately, when I am in a game and I kill someone's vet 1 or vet2 something I am charged with vet hunting. So I agree with bodybag that people don't know the real definition of Vet hunting.

But sometimes you have to suicide a unit to win a game. If there is a Tiger that is hurt creeping back to safety and there are 2 or 3 repair bunkers back there that Tiger is coming back. So what do you do? You launch an offensive to destroy the Tiger or to destroy the repair bunkers.
