So much has been written about the others so might as well give the last one a go:
Salan: he has loads of time on his hands and seems eager to dedicate most if not all of it towards the goal of balancing EIR; which is very good for a balance team member. Can be slightly daft, sometimes isn't sure where he is or what is going on, but these aren't really big issues since all balancing will be done from the comfort of a chair and the computer usually keeps his attention. Also, he appears to understand the basics of simple, basic SQL and that is always a plus. Some community members have called him a prick, and I see where they are coming from. He is definitely a huge jerk most, if not all, of the time; But why else do we have the mute function in ventrilo
. Keeping positive, He wears bright colours, and so is very easy to spot even from long distances. Never have to worry about not finding him when you have a pressing balance-related question. He also hopefully has a sense of humour...
Salan, GamerAndy, Cozmo, or Draygon, one of all of these guys would be great imo.

Salan, Unknown, Stumpster.
For the simple reasons that for the most part they can discuss balance, they can mostly remain cool headed and helpful, and none of them will power trip like myself or GA. Unknown has the largest ego of the bunch, and even then he's fairly level headed.

Pricing should ultimately come from a detailed and
well behaved
discussion from the community, where the person in charge of the database can then add the changes. This way we don't have bitching that X favours Y

in all your time here, how many of these discussions are there with the whole community involved

Well, considering that the balance will ultimately hang on the shoulders of a community member, I don't see why it can't be done. Just because it wasn't before, doesn't mean it has to stay that way no does it?

sounds like a er, sound idea.
I guess it can go like this, before a change is ultimately decided upon we have a discussion about it, or maybe what we can do is put up every unit and ability for discussion and see what needs to be balanced...
my 1st thing would be to just take assault off volks if you can't fix it, cuz certain people are using it to their advantage and saying that they "purchased it for 2 or 3 but forgot which ones they were" ...bullspit. so u buy it for a couple and use it on 10? blah...

Frankly any taking forward of EIR should be spearheaded by Salan for obvious reasons. As for balancing, Salan always struck me as unbiased with no obvious favoritism to a particular side or play style. Lots of other people its too easy to expect their bias or self interest.
Edit: Sorry just remembered this was meant to be for people putting themselves forward only so.. er..
I would like to help...(not really, don't have the time or the lack of bias
)

Wow, would love to participate in it.
Might actually be a good pratice for gamedesign study sometime next year
.
But I guess I lack the connections
Whatever, it sounds banal, but salan will make the right choices

I'm code-illiterate so I think I'll opt out of access, if given the opportunity. However, I'd love to assist who ever is in.

I would only trust Salan, and Gamerandy. Possibly Kolath, but from what I have seen he is devoted to this mod, but still isn't very active on vent, or playing games.
I dont know what the system already is, but I think we should have 3 people, Salan, Gamerandy, and I'm just going to throw Kolath in for his devotion.
These are the only people I could feel good knowing are in charge of pricing. Dont get me wrong, there are a lot of good people on there. But its possible that there oppinions may be swayed to enhance there own play style. Key word "POSSIBLE".

I agree obama would be the best man for the job, with clinton, err salan coming close second.
