New version will be better.

agreed. Just look at the post. Look at all the stuf, it's amazing how detailed it will be. This totally makes CoH a different game.

That is more or less what all mods do, BoTB may change the game but if it is still unbalanced its unbalanced. You can dress up a pile of horse poop in a dress but it is still horse poop.

Going to d/l later tonight.

Im not even going to attempt to play it...half of those things they introduced threw balance out the window.  There is a reason this game is called Company of Heroes and not Faces of War...

I don't think judging a game's balance and/or gameplay based on changelogs is the best way of forming an opinion.

The threw balance out the window, no need to try it, again if I wanted realism I would play something other than CoH.

if I remembered correctly, Faces of War is pretty realistic in the physics department. Just try the damn mod first before you judge it from the changes.

If they got rid of the AI spamming tanks, it'll be great.

There is a such thing as too much control, what i dislike about FoW and MoWis the lack of unit AI you are a army group commander not a fucking puppeteer, the men don't even seek cover they rely on you for EVERYTHING, and that is very hard when you are trying to control a tank that doesn't understand the mechanics of the game it is in!

They seek cover, but if you order them to move somewhere they run there.

Infantry in MoW/FoW is just a decoy/capturing unit anyway.

that is silly, infantry should be the mainstay of your army instead the way to win is spam tanks.

Haha it does not, most games end up being tank/arty wars rly.
(and support weapons to a certain extent, but infantry? nah)

just got through playing Botb and it's better. There was a lot of light vehicles mid-game but not a lot of tanks, heck, i saw light vehicles then stugs then ostwinds, no real heavy tanks yet.  Oh yeah and those hetzers, lots of hetzers lol.

the physics engine is cool. all infantry can run, they've also got it so you can build a rally point near your post you can set up in a house so you can retreat there instead of going all the way back to the base. No triage, but thing you can build in the field, i forget its name it heals. Infantry in buildings are so cool because you have to be almost right up on them to see them, snipers and mg's pwn like that, cuz infantry wont see the mg until it fires lol snipers can fire until you get up on them and you wont know its there unless you see the tracer.

Yes i've had a sherman get one hit lol really pissed me off but it was my fault, i shouldn't have had it out in the open like that and it was  real clean shot. Teh callie pwns infantry even harder and they put a gun on it. It costs 50 muni to fire artillery so you can't spam it, but it's more effective as well and the cool down is shorter.

I especially love how AT guns cloak in cover, omg it's so own and infantry cloak in cover as well until they fire. It makes it much more strategic and easier to defend but because things die so fast once you're find get ur ass outta there lol.

Ok seriously DL it, it's real good. If you could put EIR & this version of the mod together it'd be awesome, at least some of the stuff, not everything.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I just downloaded the mod and am geting HORRIBLE performance, any ideas why...? I have a really nice computer and can run OF on max graphics and such but when I try BotB I get horrible frame rate. Any ideas? Although in the few laggy minutes that I played the game seemed really cool, hopefully I can get this resolved so I can play :/
Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it.
