Are all the maps going to be sorted out properly now? I mean the ones where several where packed into the same sga as no one could edit the module, I think salan was going to do it but didn't get round to it.

Well from the map database I can see 6p_burning_forest which is currently in french countryside and point du hoc (the eir version?), D-Day Coop and 4p_Vengeance which are in ardenne valley, I thought there were more but they could have disappeared with all that TLS stuff (I couldn't say because I currently only have my laptop at uni). Presumably the mappers just have to release the maps as seperate SGAs and then those SGAs can be added to the module.

Because, i am sick of the disrespect from the EIR community i will keep it at OMG. The alpha starts soon i'll try to get people there to test it.

What do you mean?

At the moment the EIR community is pretty much the same people as the OMG community, having it playable in EIR just allows you to test it more while waiting for OMG's release. And as a mapper it's in your best interest your map gets played by the largest possible public, I was actually intending on testing out your map real soon.

I would just rather keep the playtests private. if you want to play i can send you a link. Besides, I cant get anyone but friends to play, because no one will play it cause it hasn't been tested yet Huh

Aight, well, I understand your frustration but know that this is something every mapper has to go through when trying to make a name for himself. Just look at the charts.

There's only a few maps that get constantly played while the rest just get only a few hits, and for what it's worth, I myself have maps at the bottom of the charts as well :p. Just give it some time, once you get some players to test and try it, it'll become more appreciated and respected. Thinking however that this will be any different on OMG is naive, people will likely end up playing the exact same maps over there as they do over here.

I'll be sure to check out your map in the future and provide input.

Alright then, was under the impression you were dissapointed by the lack of games played and/or the community's unwillingness to try out something new. (which is a natural phenomenon mind you, especially when 'something new' is provided by someone new)
