It makes them MORE indestructible though. With Vet3 they would be unkillable (by small arms fire).

I saw volks squads in cover kill M8s.
You don't even need an ability for it.
Fatherland Defense is a defensive buff that let's you last longer, but it will only have a real effect when the teams are relatively even, if you lose due to bad tactics and Suppression Fire, you still lose.
I have to agree it stacks nicely with other bonuses, the mentioned example of vet 3 and ftfl could essentially enable KCH to kill quads in a headon attack.
Just who does that?

Thats where the lawnmowers come in, you don't even have to counter a unit properly, just use relic's shitty AI coding to drive over them. (And FYI, using the 'halt' order with EIR's custom AI code that has units stay still in cover will get them run over even worse as they'll actually 'halt' in front of an incoming tank)

FTFL + Fatherland Defense = awesomeness.
You pop FTFL on 3 gren squads, and watch as two crocodiles spurt their flames in vain, as your panther comes up for the kills...
It also acts as a fireup - defeated 4 BAR squads with 2 grens(each with an LMG), by popping FTFL and medikits, without using any cover. The bars shot, and fired, and tried using suppresion fire. Big deal!
