While the General forum doesn't seem to have much life, the Development forum does.  I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression, so I thought I'd feel you in on some details.

The development forum has 601 posts, averaging just over 22 posts each day.

The forum itself has received over 18600 hits since January 5, 2007.  That's an average of 600 different hits per day by over 100 unique guests.

Be sure you visit often, we are just beginning to get popular.

How to access the development forum? When i hit the forum button on the website i can only see the general forum.
Btw when do you think is the alpha going to be released? But dont rush things, take your time, get it right.

The development forum is only available to those on the team.  I just wanted to illustrate that the team is very dedicated to the project despite the public's reservations about it.

Alpha will definitely happen in February.  That's all I can say.

BTW I agree with Fldash. You only get one shot at this so make it a bute. I really am hoping that you guys pull this off. Better to delay and make a great impression than rush to release shit on a stick.

good to hear lots happening on the dev side. It is indeed a bit quiet over here.
Im sure that will change with the alpha though.

Well, I kinda disagree with the opinion that it should be a great opening.
Alpha version is supposed to be where we'll take the final design decisions.
Therefore, we should hold our breaths and discuss how this is going to be better and better.

Then we go to Beta, where we can find and solve all our bugs.

And then...it's official release, where everyone will expect something finished and as bugfree as possible!
