That little halftrack is the Sdkfz-250/1, a smaller version of the more mass produced Sdkfz-250. Just in case anyone is wondering what the heck that is.

GERMAN CAMPAIGN!

Also, "as many chapters as we can"... so we can expect russians, japs and Italians eventually!

I also got from that, that they will eventually venture out of the WWII era and move to modern day type things.  Im thinking at least one Vietnam type of chapter and at least one middle east conflict chapter.

i honestly dont think they will go out that far from WW2... i mean, not only is CoH a WW2 game, but dont forget that Relic has a habit of making all their expansions connected to each other; you wouldnt be able to play vietnam-era US or the viet congs against, say, the Panzer Elite.

That is true, but listen to the interview again..they want it to be a franchise...there is only so much you can do with WW2.  Look at Call of Duty, it was that same era, but they are modernizing it for this next release.  I believe we will see (in time) Relic do the same with CoH.

Sweet!  He even mentioned the pacific theater!  W00t!

Hey devs, have you guys considered working with Relic or in some way collaborating with them?  If relic is going to keep on making expansion packs (as they did with DoW) there could be an opportunity for them to introduce this kind of mod into the official game.  Just a thought.

Pacific Theater and Italy are going to be hard to balance...thier armies were so bad...

Pacific: Japanese weapons, artillery, tanks, and logistics were...pretty sad. American infantry had incredible kill ratios compared to the Japanese (25 to 1 on some islands). However, thier infantry was top class in terms of morale.

Italy: Screwy tanks. Horrible weapons. I must say that they were worse than the Japanese (at least the Japs had Zeroes).

Luckily, CoH is a abstract at best of WWII.

I want to play as the Japs! Or the Marines, doesn't really matter.

Fldash has the occasional contacts with Buggo and other people from Relic but there's not much they can contribute aside from helping him out finding certain files, guiding him to find certain scar codes, etc.

They did however mention at the start of the mod how they thought it was a great idea and Buggo I believe is watching the progress and will no doubt try it out later on.

It's a mod afterall so all Relic can do is provide tools and guidelines to support them.

That's what they said about counter-strike...

But anyways, that's cool that Buggo and the Relic folks are following the development.  I can't wait for the persistency release!
