what if we could try to get tales of heroes mention EIR in one of their shows, the request must come from the fans/players and not devs, they are more likely to listen to fan that say its good rather than the devs them selfs. so every body send adn email or how ever you can contact them to make them take notice

I tried this a while ago and they were interested, but then the patch hit... so they probably forgot. It'd be if one or two members of the community just write a nice email in proper english telling them about this great mod. But don't spam them or anything at all. So yes good idea posting this here but make sure it's only 1/2 peole .

Spamming would NOT be a good idea... If they are really interested in the mod, a single email, written well can do the job.

You know after the persistency comes out, and the map is up and running. I would love to do alot of PR work for EIR. I would do it now but its not finished, a finished product can be pushed easier than an unfinished one. As it stands right now I can start contacting some other people and see if I cant get some interest going, but I dont want to do that unless FL (sinces he's lead design) gives the ok.

I'm sure we'll look into alot of that then, atm 1.7 is the next big thing and let's hope the persistancy works out ok from start without too many issues. Not much point in getting people interested in this point when it's the persistancy part that is truly going to be revolutionary and will keep them playing. (Else a large fraction of those newly attracted players will just try it and quit.) Imho at least... It's of course fldash's call, but I believe he's either still on holiday or just got back from it today .

I already E-mailed Bridger a few days ago... (sorry for not telling anyone ) My E-Mail: Hey
First of off I would like to say I love your site and am a big fan.
I am currently using a mod (I'm not a Dev) called Europe In Ruins. I'm sure you've heard of it and would like to know if you or Vit has tried it yet. Once completed it will definitely very popular, perhaps more so than the Battletest Mod if done right.
I realize that your next show will be a standard 1.6 as you will still be talking about the balance as it settles with the community but would ask that you at least consider having a show about or mentioning Europe In Ruins, perhaps during the time before 1.8.
Any feedback, regardless of the answer, would be much appreciated
Dasfubar His reply: We talked about it once or twice on the show, we may do something more in depth when it gets finished.

Yes, he has a point, it's probably going to be alot more intresting if they try it out when persistancy is in. (1.7...)
However i'm quite confident that if they would check it out they'd love it and play it and mention it anyway.
So don't spam them, leave them alone for now and let us wait for a solid 1.7 version with fitting interfaces so that it makes a great first impression!

We should go send them a email now. Since 1.7 has already come out.
