Battle 14027

No clue how we lost this, 16 vehicle kills, 286 infantry kills (in a 2v2 no less). To be completely honest both me and lisek felt like we were dealing with oversupplies companies (4 MG bunkers, demo charges, triage, supply drops, mines, grenades, stickies, infinite ranger blobs etc), 1 hour 5 minute game, very tense but by the end the feeling had set in that were going to loose because of infinite munitions and manpower. Props go to lisek for keeping his Stuh alive for the entire game (4 trips to the rep bunker). Its the first time I loose 76 kill 151 and loose a game lol.

14027 Defensive Defeat
57th Airborne (Argosian)
369th Infantry (Lemures)
vs
139th Blitzkrieg (lisek1989)

Im sure they are good players but nothing they did was really impressive during the game, the only thing that impressed was the never ending manpower parade, lisek is enraged lol. Watch the replay and you'll understand.

Well maybe they are good, but it doesn't excuse them from abusing.

well actually not enraged Smiley

But still i was interested enough to count the units during the reply.
It keeps balancing on the edge of reality?

4 mg bunkers, about 10 mines, 7 MG callins from one allie (2 from the other)
Also a load of other units. Ofcourse im not acusing nobody since i have no idea what was left in the reserves but id assume it wasn't the end since more matching callins were on the way...

Anyhoo, game left a bit bitter taste - and not becouse we lost, but how we did.

I have 27 rifleman squads, I on average call in around six. Engineers fill the gaps.

The thing about many new axis players is that they buy too much anti-tank, sure I can't risk my Vet3 that can survive two double shrecker squads unleashing on it at point blank in the rear and then run them over as my flame engineers and riflemanz clear up. Thats the thing, too much AT lost doing something useless. AT should lock down an area and keep hitting away at tanks sometimes, not just throw all your AT into a kill and run out only to have the riflemanz blob take you out late game.

Three PaKs maximum, three double shreckers, the rest goes to anti-infantry and then you will be able to take on the 130mp riflemen.

? lol. That had nothing to do with this game, this was not a rifle spam game, one player alone had 7 HMGs not to mention 4 MG emplacements.

Puddin' spamtm
i cant really blame smokaz i mean playing against puddin is like trying to fight off breast cancer. You might win and do it and be a bad ass but you'll feel sick and mutilated forever.

Puddin' spamtm is soulcrushing... what's hard to understand about that?

IIRC infantry has two abilities that reduce the manpower cost of all infantry and the munitions cost of support weapons.

7 HMGs isnt all that expensive tbh.  MG emplacements are fairly cheap as well, you can have 4 for only like 200ish munitions, that less cost than giving a single squad of airborne RRs...

I think HMGs can be discounted in both manpower and munitions with some of the abilities. MG Nest is 50 munitions.

Uhm weird game really. Their tactic was simple and they caught you in their trap, this is something like the bunker spam tactic when attacking, let the enemy come to you and then where you are stronger you strike. Maybe you could have attacked massively one player and in some moments they had little on the field. More aggressive playstyle might have helped (I mean with all your troops)

I run a Tank Reaper company with 50 Rifles and 5 ATGs with some miscellaneous equipment. I pump all my RBs into Manpower.

Assuming I went for total annihilation, I should have at least 300 casualties by myself not considering the fact I have a few support weapons.

I don't think oversupply is warranted.

Here is my "smurf" account.

This is the stats based on the dual T3 discounted units with TR plus all RBs into Manpower. I have 309 Popcap in total here.

You're quite funny by totally ignoring Howitzers. Besides, the main point was to inform them that its possible to have 256 kills and still lose.

I'm more than happy to take up your challenge as well.
