I really do not like how people from OMG are coming to EIR's launcher and telling people the mod is dead and to go to their mod. 

EIR is not dead, IMO its doing better than OMG is.  I like OMG, but right now EIR is a much better mod, and with PE and the brits in i believe its going to continue to be better.

I must point out that Draygon in fact never said that EIR was dead, Manfred vonRitter did.

Smokaz I gotta admit, I really do love you , I remember when you 1st started playing Eir...boy that was fun huh.  Anyways This whole thread is ridiculos anyways.  Basically Eir is the better mod right now plain and simple, I'm just guessing people say otherwise just to annoy everyone else.

1. I asked if the Mod is over. When I'm online, there is often no one here, it was a question, not a statement.
2. I made a statement as to the recent inactivity (at my times).
3. Draygon said OMG and I asked if they're there.
4. I then said that OMG team seems to care, EiR is good. But there is segregation between the dev team and players here, especially the new players so in contrast and relatively speaking my ideas/suggestions are more heard there than they ever would here, for some time.
5. Please show me where I told peopel to go to OMG? I did not.

well the mod goes through different hours of productivity when it comes to games.  I know in my most active timezone, which was usually late night PST, it has always been harder to get a game compared to a few hours earlier in the day.

EIR is far from dead, and OMG itself is surely doing well.  No need to worry about both mods really. The community is interchangable except for a few people with directed opinions towards one or the other, which isn't a loss to either.

I for one am excited to see the continued influx of new players, it brings new ideas, new play styles and fresh opinions into the mix.  Let them get through the learning curve and we'll have a whole slew of new people to watch out for in order to save our vet !

Lets get back in the game, and leave the whining to the girls eh?

Hey MannfredvonRitter,

Just thought Id make a quick post about this point.

Currently, there is a *large* number of changes going in, that involving the community in would only cause confusion and chaos with out the full development documentation.

This will change soon however, when the blanket of silence(tm) is lifted, and you begin to get introduced into some of the new ideas that EIR:R will introduce - which you will see very soon.

So, if youre still interested - stick around for the fun times ahead!
