I think there are some very good ones among those Smiley
I generally tried to avoid maps with bridges and large bodies of waters, bad sectoring and low detail.

Yeah well these maps weren't made for Eir. So theres no way we can tell if theyre crap or not unless we test them, after being fixed to fit the mod's playstyle.
Now since the topic of the thread is Vcoh CUSTUM maps, i thought i throw them in, so we can maybe play and see what they like on an eir environment.
In all honesty a lot of maps being created for Eir are crap. I don't see why not taking a chance with the Coh mapping community.
Or you plan on fighting on rtc forever?

The main Problem, or the big poblem, Many of those 2vs2 or 3vs3 have So many Sectors, I counted 34 Sectors in a 2vs2. RcT has around 14-16 total... But we should try yes.

Sectors can be changed.  I'd say look for maps that look like they could be the foundation for a good EIR level and then we can approach the creators about resectoring.  It will take a while to go through all those, schultz, thank you for taking the time to post all the links!

I can't believe this. There are SO many unplayed maps made specifically for EIR, and you want to get vCOH maps in, too?

Including more maps in the installer should help.

But there's nothing wrong with looking for more.

Don't mention it man. I was searching for new maps back for the TLS, but lack of dev activity made it all kinda futile.
I hope you find some of them good enough to be tested for eirr.
I can then further the search, this one was kinda random.
My criteria for the above maps were based on the shape and dimensions of the map layout, and the detail evident by the pictures.
I generally had im mind to look for maps that were either open, or offer a tactical challenge while not being broken, at least to my eyes :p
As i said i tried to stay away from maps with bridges or large bodies of water, forcing actions into small areas of the map.
Anyway i hope it helps.

I think with the new Eir installment getting new maps is as important as everything else.
How old is abbe, rtc or crossroads seriously ?
I think something important must be done in this area but not "exclusively" :p
