Its okay with me sach, nobody is forcing you to use either zoom mod (which gives an unfair advantage) or a queue up move command scripts (rectifying a commonly agreed upon pathing issue).

the zoom mod is actually incorporated into the EIR installer if I remember correctly, I hate it myself, always lost track of my units when using so never installed it.

My point (which you intentionally ignored, barring you being stupid) is that your consideration of whats unfair is just an opinion like mine, while relic is the game designer and ultimately a host-party which EiR is dependant upon. Their opinion is boss.

Oh man, I love zoommod so much. I hate going back to vCoH without it. Tbh, I play most of the game zoomed out crazy far.
Anyone have a link to the auto queue action script/mod? I have heard about it/them but never had a link.

Holy Shit I thought I was the boss. (OK enough belligerence) I remember playing a game of quake at a LAN where the players took it so seriously they turned off all the textures, made the teams appear bright red and blue and turned off all UI features to squeeze that extra tiny bit of performance. Totally gay, wish people would just play the game as it is out of the box.

thats not true. plenty of games are incredibly hard to change when played online. With the increasing amount of crossover between consoles and pc online gaming we will have to see more and more unmoddable games imo.

If it's not hardcoded into the game then I'm not too keen on it. Sure i've replaced a model or twenty in counterstrike or something but never with something stupid like team colors....using stuff like that to gain an advantage is not cool, especially in an online environment.
My micro recently has suffered due to lack of practice. I'm terrible at remembering hotkeys, so I used to be ridiculously fast with a mouse. The vCOH viewing area unfortunately makes it hard so i'm trying to get my hotkeys down.
Stuff like the backing up script above....if Relic puts it in, then i'm cool with that. Otherwise, my stance is against it.

I only personally support modding for pleasure, not for advantage.
I'm not against people using scripts, if they really really want to do it, then fine. But I don't. If they want to mess around the camera, that's fine too... but I don't. I play the game with the as-packaged mechanics, and sometimes without the as-packaged visuals. Mods, obviously, I play the mod as the mod was designed to be, unless I'm making my own mod! But then I can't claim to be playing the mod I was playing before...

Akranadas' Greatest Hits, Volume 1: Vet has nothing to do with unit preformance. We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

People not just playing games out of the box are one of the moving powers of stuff like developers supporting their games properly post-release, Extra downloadable content, balance patches, bug patches, modifications like EiR, OMG etc and mapmaking/skins. You are sounding pretty naive and narrow in your take on gaming so far Sach, but I guess you are just arguing for the sake of arguing now.
@ Schultz
You are not even assigning control groups? Lol.

I'm not doing that either. Lots of people don't do that. And honestly, in EiR i have a good overview of my troops, no need to get used to it now
