Europe In Ruins: Reinforcements Secrets Revealed 9 -  The Reinforcements

We are excited to announce a previously unknown function of the new release of EIR:R.  This release will be in the game at release and will add a certain diversity to your doctrine choices.

Each faction (Allied / Axis) will have available to it 6 Reinforcement choices.  You may purchase any 1 of those six choices for the prestige cost, they are not associated with the actual doctrine system yet will be displayed and purchased on the doctrine pages.  A pre-requisite free purchase so to say.

-At release these choices will each cost 30 pp to unlock.

-If you purchase a Reinforcement which contains units of the doctrine you already have, their availability will add to your current units availability.  (IE: Riflemen regularly have 10,6,1 unlocking Infantry Reinforcement will make it add 5,3 to your availability for 15,9,1)

-If you purchase a Reinforcement which contains units you do not have, it will unlock those units for you, with a higher Prestige cost per unit in-supply or overstocked.

-You may only choose one of these Reinforcements, and units are spread across them in order to make the choice not an easy one.

-The units will currently cost the same for manpower/ammunition/fuel as their base unit for the doctrine they are assigned.  This may be change later.

Unlocks will be titled as Reinforcements.

- Rangers Unlocked - 0 PP

Brit Arty:

- Creeping Barrage/25 Pounder Unlocked - 5 PP
- Priest Unlocked - 8 PP

Brit Commando:

- Commando Unlocked - 0 PP

Tiger = Deadly
King Tiger = Heavily armoured + somewhat deadly + slow

Hey why not an mg for Axis choices, whereas allies get 2 ?

And wouldnt it be better to make them less rigid and more flexible, so people could get the ones that they really want ..?

Well, there will obviously be more doctrine choices later, but the devs have stated that they're starting out with only unit unlocks, in order to facilitate balancing efforts. Among the abilities that certainly won't be making a reappearance is Sabotage/subversion, though (which I'm grateful for).

Thats what they mean i think, and its awesome.
But they need to make it less strict. Let us pick the one we really care for.
I really wouldnt care how much PP it would cost for that matter.
