Please put this file into your COMPANY OF HEROES directory, overwrite the one that is there, or erase the one that is there and replace it with this one. VERSION 1.04 http://files.filefront.com/AutoUpdaterexe/;13411439;/fileinfo.htmlthis should fix the auto updater issues and installing it is the only way to get it working correctly, the full release will also be updated and re-uploaded. If your launcher DOESN'T look like this:  You need to download the new one. |

If its placed in your COH, and you have installed with the old install, it should be fine.

i downloaded it , placed in coh folder , deleted old autoupdater . I have the install that was posted by salan |

it seems the auto updater only installs the launcher... looks like you'll need to wait until they fix the filefront link after all

This will download all the files, but the maps are very big - and it looks like the updater has frozen (it hasnt).

Ofcourse Kaspersky shows trojan ;-).
So it's dling only eir:r files not maps? thats cool cuz I already have 400 mb of eir maps on my HDD.

Draken, the updater downloads the maps as well I'm certain.
Yes, anything that tries to access the internet will show as a trojan... It's just the way things are now that there are so many people with malicious intent.

Hey ive done this myself and it tries to download from 2 to 121 files but fails and freezes , i do wait but still get nothing

I have downloaded the hot fix and now the updater says I need one file. It downloads that and then tries to launch but i get an app crash error. I have tried restarting my computer but it does the same thing over again.

I am reinstalling the whole file again. do i need to apply the hotfix again after I do that? i.e. replace the autoupdater in the coh file ?
