Hey can anyone tell me why the Autoupdater all of the sudden wants me to download all the maps again and just went through a couple of process's to install numerous files?
I have already played a couple of games or EIR:R and all of the sudden the autoupdater started downloading "1/6" files and they were huge...so I stopped and decided to post here.

Those of us on vent were told to stop DL'ing those 6 files by EIRRmod until he gives the go-ahead, so I think you just gotta be patient and an update will be out soon enough...

Just canceled my own down load. I noticed that it also downloaded a 'new' version of the launcher. Was it actually new?
Also, it downloaded a .pdb- a program debug database. That's for Visual Studio & debugging in it and shouldn't be necessary for a release.

This is important. Put in on the front page of the website as well as ventrilo (which is already being done). If you don't want the EiR:R launched announcement to fall to the bottom due to numerous bug notifications, just keep replacing the bug notification post instead of making new ones. Will reduce confusion yeh? |

Ya well thanks EIR mod for the quick response, (even though I just slept through it) and I understand there are still things t deal with in the new version, so its really no big deal, but thanks for taking the time out to tell us whats going on. But I think Jack and Misten are right, when something like that happens, maybe one of the Mods, or devs or someone could post something up on vent, or somwhere where everyone will look, can see what the problem is.
