This is just an update on the v1.7 release status and some information about how you can help publicize the modification and make it a success.

Firstly, please go vote for us over at GameFlood and why you are at it, at ModDB as well. You can use the following links to our profiles to make your vote count...

The GameFlood contest is huge and could provide us with many more additional players. It also helps a lot to click on the ModDB banner on the left once a day, it takes just a second and gets us quite a bit of exposure...

And now, the news you've all been waiting for...

v1.7 is coming along quite well, but I hate to say that it won't be out tomorrow. It's just not where we need it to be, although I can assure you that we are working diligently on it and will release it ASAP. Most likely, we will be releasing some pre-v1.7 versions for dedicated players to play and test. This will help us catch and remove obvious bugs and oversights we miss... On the release of v1.7 we'll send out an announcement to all our members, post on the COH forums, and hopefully get front page news on ModDB and COH Files. I'll also work on getting us onto FilePlanet.

Before we get that type of exposure, it's important that we work at any kinks and so releases will come that will most likely be a little buggy at first (because of the massive amount of changes and work) and will be updated, most likely, daily. After we feel it's ready to go, we'll start the advertising and hopefully get a huge influx of players into the community.

These are exciting times indeed. I'm sorry it's been over two months since our last release (as I apologized before). I just want you all to know where are energized and working hard to create the best COH mod available...

Hehe, i've voted for the mod on gameflood. I can't wait for this release, it'll give me a reason to have CoH on my drive (vanilla blows arse). I cannot wait at all to get my triple vet volks armed with mp40's.  -->> RAPE RAPE.

What does it take to be considered dedicated enough to test 1.7?   I know alot of us are checking back daily, waiting for the release  -  I'd love to get in on the 1.7 testing

may i suggest uploading 1.7 to the gameflood server only so whenever someone downloads it we get a point Smiley just make it so thats the only place to get it 500 instant downloads woot

how come when i look at the COH mods..all i see is like the Dday map and a bout 5 other ones..i cant find europe in ruins by serarching for it

Btw D-day coop map is leading the RTS contest due to the fact that it has received nearly 500 downloads.
Surely we can beat this Smiley.
(So Vote and press download everyone!)

We need to at least make it to the top 10 and then judges will decide on who gets the prize. We have a pretty good shot at ending high by judge voting imho.

Also fldash, maybe you should consider adding the "logo" to the left hand side menu (where the MODDB logo is now)

The DDay coop is in another catagory so there is hope...But for somereason we arnt in the top 25 of the rts mod dcat yet even though we have more downloads, votes, and comments than the 25th placing mod so far

It only updates daily.

Also note that downloads & views count up to total score just aswell as votes.
