I just witnessed the Bergetiger. It repairs really really slow, to the point of being almost non-existant.
Why? I guess it's very likely a mistake has been made.

On the above paper, Bergetiger repair rate looks good. What has not been thought about though, is the fact that infantry always come in squads. Hence, a squad of 4 unupgraded sappers, each with a repair rate of 0.5, have a combined repair rate of 2.0. Quite better than the Bergetiger, a unit designed to do nothing else than repair. I doubt that this is on purpose.

Respecting this, Bergetiger repair rate should be increased to 4.0.

Apex - infantry repair per squad basis, so if pios repair at 0.5 HP/s, for instance the 2 guys repair for a total of 0.5 HP/s.
However, if one of the Pios(Hans) dies, the other one(Ludwig) only repairs at 0.25 HP/s, since his morale is crushed.
So it's per squad, and can go down, if guys in the repair team die.

omg, look at the 0.03 change log

off the top of my head it goes

.33 Pio
.5 engie
.667 sapper
.45 pe
1.5 bergetiger

and i think its .9 for oen of them when upgrades

means when a pio dies it repairs at half speed
when a engie dies it still repairs full speed
same with sappers....but they can loose even more men


that would explain why i got the feeling that a single pio is much slower in repairing

No the reason you think a single pio repairs much slower than a 2 man pio squad is because you are hopelessly axis biased and have no clue how to play this game.

I just labbed it, my suspicions were correct.  An one man engy squad repairs the same as two man engy squad and same as 3 man engy squad.

I did the same for PGs just to make sure.  An one man PG squad repairs at the same rate as a four man PG squad.   Repair rates are per squad, and even one guy repairs at the same speed as a full squad.

Tests of done by decrewing three 57mm AT guns with two nades each, shooting each gun once with another 57mm(all three took the same damage), recrewing with rifles, and then repairing simultaneously with three seperate engineer squads(each with a differing amount of men alive in the squad).  All three engineer squads finished repairing at the same time, the one man squad repaired just as fast as the full 3 man squad.

Just to confirm I did the same test with flakvierlings and one man PG squad vs four man PG squad, same results.
