Had a vet 3 howitzer.

Turned on counter battery. (no option to turn it back off)
Can still barrage normally.
Still counter batteries if something fires.
After barrage ends, no cooldown, howitzer ready to fire again.

Does everyone's vet 3 howitzer behave this way?

I did a bunch of clicks when it first deployed so maybe it bugged out, will have to try again and see whether this keeps happening.

My Howitzer had a similar, if not completely identical, problem.

For me, CB worked fine (I think). However, as soon as my Howitzer got decrewed/remanned, it lost its cooldown; it could fire barrage after barrage without a 90-second break. At least, I think it could, I didn't have the time to measure time between barrages. The button was always colored when I scrolled to it.

Confirmed. Any 105mm with counter-battery has NO COOLDOWN, even if it has been recrewed.

Wait till you see a full auto howitzer with split shot, simultaneous counter-battery and barrage at same time o.O

Vet your Hummel up to vet 3 apollo, see whether it's affected by the counter-battery bug too. A full auto Hummel will be scarier eh.

the way you avoid this is you dont turn on coutner-bettery until you've fired a barrage, this way the counter-bettery and barrage cooldowns get synced up.
