It was removed because there is no such thing as '4p_Bastion', it was just the 6p_ version with only 4 slots. It goes without saying that a map the size of bastion would be unplayable with only 4 people.

I played it and it's fine. Maybe a few sectors could use resizing but it was not unplayable at all.

It's not coming back, maybe if Lolto ever actually makes a 4p_ one.
Lolto also never gave his permission for a 4p_ version to be created in the first place.

One of the first versions of Bastion I believe was 4 player, so if you are playing that, it is extremely outdated. However if someone went ahead and just lowered the final version from 6 to 4 players, then... well... whatever... as long as the credit is there, it wasn't designed for 4 players.

Thats a shame - I quite liked the occasional arty war in Bastion  That town was always ruined by the end of the game! |
