Hi first of all would just like to apologise for being a complete nab if this is a simple thing to fix, regrettably I'm no tekkie whatsoever so appreciate any help. 

Loaded EIR off a magazine freeplay disc.  Installed it to COH steam directory as mentioned somewhere else in the forum.  However on start up of launcher it runs for abput 1 second then throws up message  Custom Error Type 7   Error Code :0

Is there even an idiots guide link anywhere for getting the mod installed/running or a simple fix to my problem. 

Apologies again for any nabness, I just play the games!!

You downloaded the wrong launcher somehow .
Download latest version linked in the above post. Once installed, see the 'ultimate guide'

Hang on - you said off a freeplay disc?

How old was it?

Dude that's an error code from the OLD launcher!

Well the free play disc came with the latest edition of the UK's PCzone blame then   however now having downloaded the latest version and installed it to the relevant steam file as indicated in another post it now says auto launcher installed in wrong place please install it to COH file...but it is... so further confused...

help needed

Hey cat - if you have installed it to the correct place, these two files will be in the same directory:

RelicCOH.exe

AND

Autoupdater.exe

If they arent both in the same place, it is indeed installed incorrectly.
