Are the devs currently accepting doctrine ideas? Have the various doctrine (pathways)/(purchase system) been thought out yet?

Hey acker - we have full drafts up, they only need fine tuning.

What was your idea though - as some spots may need changed / modified / replaced.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

I was thinking about off-map artillery Tiers (of all factions)...

Instead of increasing power, decreasing drop time, or increasing uses, what would happen if the cooldown took a serious cut? A five-minute cooldown would limit arty use to maybe once per engagement, but a five-second cooldown would be devastatingly flexible.

Taken to the far end of the slippery slope, a zero-second cooldown would be downright OP, since the user could literally place artillery faster than the opponent could move (or even retreat) his forces.

What I'm trying to say is that there should be some way of differentiating artillery doctrine/usage for the factions. Power, *max* uses, speed of drop, accuracy, cooldown...something should be *somewhat* different about the relative offmap usage of every doctrine choice that has off-map abilities. Though I suppose that the different offmap abilities that already exist could already work in terms of factional difference.
