okay, havent really gotten to see what this is, but in the launcher you got PP and TP, and big ole black box... what exactly does all this do?

I second this... I wanna know what the Advantages do, and what are required to get them, etc.

Details seem sketchy at the moment unless i've missed something blatantly obvious (and i have on occasion).

The code for the Advantages is not finalised, so, its there for testing - when its finalised (calculation wise) I'll post what / how they come about.

In short, implemented are three types of advantages:

1. Training Advantages
Recon run - Normal recon run
Smoke Barrage - Arty fired Smoke barrage
Supply Drop - 1x MG, 1x Mortar and 1x Manpacked AT

2. Doctrine Advantages
None yet implemented, but will be similar to off-map arty, strafing runs etc, unlocked from your Doctrine page.

3. Commander Advantages
Extra PP - Additional pp for the battle
Protect the Commander - A % chance that 'killed' units, actually manage to survive (for the commander team)

You only need two pieces of equipment in the supply drop. Worth too much your way.

don't get this one

If one of your squads or vehicles is killed, it has a change that it 'actually' survived.  (Simulating allies dragging a wounded officer off field, or the tank crew esacping)
Random rolled at 10%, 20%, 30%

i got advantages 2 or 3 times

i'm pretty sure that it was "recon flight" in launcher but ingame there was a smoke barrage icon and a smoke barrage text
unfortunately i didn't used it...

is a smoke barrage the same thing like on cromwell command tanks?

First red smoke (like offmap artillery) comes down, scaring the shit out of everyone, and then the whole area is covered in smoke. Takes some time til it comes down though.
