Ok,
I'm not too familar with this, but i hope someone of you can help me.

In the Vegas window, i had the explorer and the video preview in the same Tab. Now i have each in it's own tab. That means i have to switch tabs to see the preview of every file.

I can't find a way to revert that :/


Edit: Nevermind. Reinstall helped D:

you can also drag it out of the tab itself by clicking and holding on the three little vertical dots.

I use sony vegas extensively, but I am by no means a expert.  Pm me if you have any more questions on its functionality, I might be able to help.
