Fierce urban combat. If you want to watch how a single sniper left to his devices can turn the tide of battle. I focused on fighting on the river bank side, with constant relocating of HMGs to evade mortar fire and baiting enemy infantry repeatedly with 'confused' paks, volks or seemingly outnumbered grens into HMGs. Also observe that once the sniper takes out the officers, the capability of the british force is significantly reduced. The rest is just observation of tactics. If people are interested I can write a guide on using snipers. This army build you see is something I designed to kill veteran armies. nevyen tommie brens with double(!) LTs and double piats, thats abuse for me because thse 3 units are very strong with their upgrades...
brens do very much dmg, tommies have much health, then 2 LTs on top of it-> massive buff<- piats with awesome dmg output on tank
thats kinda abuse for me.

thats what i mean, i didnt insult u AT ALL. its my opinion and i wont change it because u think its wrong.
the sniper was used VERY aggressively which would usually not work against a brit blob but u just ran away and lost some more men
so the first 2 minutes were pretty unique, something like this will not happen against much players
bad luck that u had not a vet1 LT, u could have owned him with it.

HMG, Goliath + Mines. What he did, was what he thought was the best thing to do at the point in time. You aren't completely faultless yourself aloha. I'm only posting this replay for people to understand sniper usage as a viable tactic against veteran armies. I will not use my sniper that aggressively if they keep having counter sniper units. The jeeps were taken out early, which allowed me to use my sniper without much resistance. |

Toughest thing was i had no scout units in my army, ive added a recon element and some more idirect fire.
Pz showed me the limitations of what was a standard start. Dose still work but ive now seen a chink in the armour.
In the same vein its not abuse seeing as it does not always work and has limitations in of itself.
as to the insulting i was warning all posters not just you re-read the post and don't get defensive.
