i am playing , and so far the "changes" are mostly in favor of allies , axis are getting nerfed

If your support weapons are not in firing position or you are selecting those while the first red smoke comes you have a good possibility you may dodge the shell at least to save vet. By the way I am looking forward to this thing, my assault spam company already rapes blobs and support guns, what I need is a good old off-map that destroys those 57mm to allow my p4 and paks rape those shermanz.
Ah about off map again, smoke barrage in the battle advantage should be faster, it nearly comes down like a v1...

I have to lol at the hypocrisy. Its ok for brits to have FOO, but its UNFAIR for axis to get off-maps right ? Sure whatever.
And Ak, before dodging gunnug, are you playing any axis ?
I'm trying to play Axis; but can never get a game as them due to there never being enough Allied players to fill the slots. I have a PE company I want to test out.

and the pak change was not needed , it was ok for 2 years and now suddenly out of the blue nerf , because it's so hard to kill pak with inf
axis dont have 2 atgs like brits do , we dont get AP rounds on our atgs like americans do

Funny thing is that most allies dont know the experience of having offmaps thrown on every support weapon they have. Guess thats it what makes it so nice. But id still trade it in for something more interesting. Like the old Eir abilities to cap faster or sprint to the battle from the spawn.

The only real nerf to Axis was the Cloak Pak Change, and even that doesn't reflect to me as being that big of a change, as it is essentailly the same weapon, you just can't ninja it around. Initial reactions were as expect, but that's mainly due to the 3 years of it being one way. In time I feel players will get used to the changes and the game will be better for it, you can't deny that ninjapaks were a major part in allied frustraton at how these things seemly managed to avoid combat while repositioning. and the pak change was not needed , it was ok for 2 years and now suddenly out of the blue nerf , because it's so hard to kill pak with inf

The problem was, to kill a Pak before the change required American players to use a considerable amount of their battalion to kill one unit, or the pak would forever haunt and hunt the player throughout the entire game. This resulted in a frustrating game of cat and mouse, even when attempting to flank a Pak Gun with tanks resulted in nothing more than the Pak repositioning before the tank could properly locate it.

Actually Tanks are not meant to be a counter to anti-tank guns right? Btw at least make it turnable in cloak again. But then its about the precision strike right?

I don't know chefarzt, I saw in our game earlier today that you guys used them semi-effectively. I just think that too many Axis players are used to using them aggressively, rather than defensively. If you use them in a defensive matter, luring the enemy armour into your pak guns you'll have much more success then charging them forward.
You'll have to play with them like you would an Allied ATG, except you can setup traps better with them and they won't fire at infantry

You guys also have a more effective infantry based Anti-Tank Weapon which more than makes up for your "weak" damage ATGs
