I would love to have direct fire on the priest or the hummel. I will then proceed to point my guns straight at any assaulting tank and fire 4 or 6 rounds in rapid succession, totally annihilating armour, infantry and counter batteries. This is such an awesome idea! Not only is it fun, it is a historically accurate depictation of the very first anti-tank batteries! Simply howitzers with their guns turned down for direct fire against tanks in WWI!

if direct fire indeed gives 100% accuracy, this is way too overpowered. better dont give it DF.
@Smokaz: the sherman mineflail was about giving the crabflail minedetectors on it to make it more usefull, not about facepalms.
and how about this idea:
a battle advanatge that shows where enemy hidden units like storms and mines are for like 10 secs?

The TA does have improved Turret Rotation.
It can keep up with a tetrarch, except at paintjob-ruboff range, something the tetrarch itself is not capable of.

im takin that back. wasnt the TA all about 100% accuracy? and renember it still has turret rotation you can change, and reload time you can change.

i would see the TA now like a mobile bunker that once its got aim on you, youre dead. so give it a long aiming time, and bit longer reload time.
this way its very hard to micro, but once you master it worth it. and its very bad in close fight vs m10s and tetrachs, what it should be.

Besides, I never really found direct fire very useful, or even fun in ToV.
