It does seem like axis tanks do tank a huge amount of damage becaus ethey already have high health. and someties you pop 'em inthe ass and they still keep going

cause it is an other level of costs pershing is not that much more than a panther but ok we can throw out the pershing

its long time ago i saw someone using a tiger ace or a kingtiger or a jagdpanther

i killed yesterday a full health panzer4 with my non uppgunned sherman and still head almost half health.... (luck?)

Tiger is much closer to the pershing than the panther.

Yes.  Panzer IV and unupgunned shermans has nearly identical health, accuracy, and penetration against each other.  However the P4's gun fires much faster.

Upgunned sherman fires even slower, but it has 100% penetration vs the P4. Which lets it win pretty easilly.

And yes Allied tanks are more fragile, just look at your list.  M10s are much more fragile than stugs.  Cromwells are much more fragile than P4s and shermans.  The only tank on allied side thats as tough as its axis counterpart is the sherman if we discount the pershing/tiger.

5 HP bugs happen equaly often on both sides.
Panthers and Pershings both seem to attain unpenetrable armor once they're at 5 hp, as well - they bounce 90 percent of the shots(I've seen a Panther bounce 2 rear(REAR!) RR shots, back when AT eagles was still there), and the few that penetrate 5 HP bug themselves out.

bad luck with a rear penetration of 1 and front penetration of 0.75 + at eagles buffs

try next time bazookas rear penetration 6.5 if it wont die its 5% "bug" or really really bad luck

I know this is off topic, but once in BF1942 a guy stole our flag (Kharkov map I think) in a nearly dead Panzer and was getting away with all my team held up defending against a big attack by tanks and a Stuka. I grabbed the jeep, chased him down and rammed his rear end, blowing us both up but allowing the flag to be captured by a near by ally. Was very funny and he rage quit the game shortly after.

Otherwise, I've not much to contribute, except my Calliopes have never suffered from the 5% bug. Sad

sometimes it's just hilarious. i just had a game where donnie and warlight both had a m4 sherman at about 5%. they dodged like 10 shots from my p4 (no kidding, and some of them even bounced from the side armour) and limped off the field unharmed. i suggest instavet3 for these guys just foe making it out alive.  Grin

Anywho. It happens a lot on both sides, except the m10, that thing never bounces shots in my experience.

also, atm with pak's bugged and always getting a 1st shot bonus with 100% accuracy and higher penetration, you dont' get that as much for the allies.

Actually it has been stated the PAK bug dos not effect EIR. Have you proof of it happening in EIRR?

But yeah I've never seen a M10 bounce much of anything.

Paks currently do indeed have their first 2(if not 3) shots affected by first strike extra damage bonus, that is a given.
Pak 1st strike does NOT have increased accuracy, only 25 percent more damage and 1000 percent penetration.

Well I saw an M10 in match about 2 days ago get 6 shots bounced off it from 2 different P4 tanks. I was like WTF Huh Die already? Then died to a tank nade. Sad

Took one P4 to nearly 0 HP and other 50% HP. Was kinda pissed off all match cos of that Shocked

Yeah I was referring to the power up PAK bug, really the first shot bug exists though?

I heard a lot of people ask but no one has actually given an answer. I've noticed no amazing extra damage out put from PAKs recently and I've seen the second and third shot bounce at extreme range from a Sherman's front armour?

It does exist, but not all the time, I'm thinking there's a certain "condition" that has to be met first, but I'm not exactly sure whether this theory is correct.
I've seen a lot of paks take shermans down to (almost exactly) half health in 2 shots - something that NEVER used to happen before.

The worst thing to encounter is the Out of Control bug, where a tank goes out of control and starts going in circles.... But, it doesn't blow up and keeps going in circles. You can't target it, but it can still shoot at you. You manually target, but it doesn't help... Happened a couple of times to me.

Had a engine blown on a panther, uphill on radio (top) Killing 2 mg scuads a mortar and 2 shermans.......

(2 mgs and the mortar could have been saved tough  Wink)
