I would like to see mines work against everyone including the faction that layed the mine. your thoughts?
What happen to allowing units to retain there equipment found on the battle field. does anyone like that idea?

People keeping weapons found on the battlefield led to over-supply company exploits

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

Oh man, definately don't let stolen equipment be kept, perhaps refund it as PP though.
Just having nightmares where oversupply raid assault airborne companies were dropping in behind my callout. It was terrible.

Well if over supplying was removed from the equation then keeping a picked up weapon could be possible if a PP cost was attributed to it. If you have the PP then you can keep it other wise you have to sell it and get nothing in return. (Thus no over supply.)
I propose attributing a PP cost to the picked up item as it is the main mechanism for judging the relative strength of one company to another in the launcher.
So a bar could cost 12 PP to keep, a Shrek 20 PP etc. I would suggest large PP costs as:
1 in later iterations of EIR:R it is unlikely that anyone will have companies that float PP.
2 the PP will be lost with the weapon making it to an extent a liability. (20 PP for a shrek lost could have been spent on 500MP Advantage for example Or gone a long way towards reinforcements.)
3 the will be no munitions cost for the weapon so an appropriate alternative cost will be necessary and would need to reflect the weapons relative power in that faction.
Of course I don't expect this to be actually done I'm just suggesting a way that it could be achieved.
