Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

Only if repairing was how they got Vet.

Fighting would not make someone repair faster.

Repairing should not fighting better.

Unless it does both.

As stated in other threads, repair is being completely reworked in a near future.

I think better repair with vet 2 and 3 is a great idea. You paid PP for these units and they suck at combat, so why not give the players something back for leveling them up and paying PPs.

I went through the pain of lcoing a vet 2 panther only to trap the ranger squad that did it between the wreck and building and my bergetiger.
Not only did my bergetiger exact its revenge but it got vet 2.
Lo and behold Vet 2 did nothing for my repair rate and it was killed by a halftrack with a sticky squad inside. Waste of 1 PP.

They want to remove repair from most every unit, forcing you to use Repair Bunker style stuff....

Which of course does not account for repairing things that are Immobile in the field, or Engine damaged/destroyed, etc.

If this is true, I'm actually OK with that, it creates a fallback point that is able to be assaulted by a the enemy should they figure out where your repair station is. Only downside is on small maps if you create it near your spawn it could be tough to get rid of, but if you're pushed all the way back to your spawn, I guess you're likely loosing already anyways.

As for immobilized tanks, the only thing I'd want to bring back is the self destruct button, so it doesn't eat pop.

I'm fine with everything else getting blow to shit  Grin

Anyways hard to comment on something when we don't know what the change is. Probably best to spend energy commenting on those once they are revealed.
