Noob here, just registered this morning here at work and had a question.  when i create a company do i need to save enough manpower to be able to call in a pershing, rangers, or airborn? i didnt see them on the company purchase page.  might be a stupid question but i dont want to creat an army then not be able to use the callins i used my cps on!

Thanks.

To buy doctrine-specific units you will have to enable them using your CPs (company points). You can find them under the control panel. No, you don't need manpower saved to call them in during a battle. You will have to have purchased the units beforehand and arranged them into platoons.

you choose you doctrine as you make you compnay so you can only bring in one type to rare unit.

second to get the rare unit you need to spend cps, do this buy clicking on "War Control Panel" and "choose Doctrine Abilities" and spend your cps.

you will notice you dont have many, you get 1 more for every win to have.

so get out there and have fun.

Thanks for the replies! Cant wait to give this mod a try!  just 6 more hours of work:)  So you purchase the call ins right before the battle? Sorry if these are annoying questions but since im at work i cant just do a test run.

allso it seems like you get alot of manpower to work with, does the popcap keep it manageable or is there just units flying all over the place?

the amount you can have on the battlefield at one time is limited by the popcap you get and should be manageable.

Don't listen to Cozmo, he's a party pooper. Shocked

Basically what happens is after you have spent your CP, and got the ability to use Airborne, Rangers, or Pershings (if you went for one of those abilities, that is), you buy your units in the company, including whatever doctorine unique you got. Once you have spent most of your resources, (Cozmo is right, leave a few thousand MP left over), you then put it into platoons and off you go to battle.

Have fun!
