Hey all!!

In my case I used the Garands capabilities to illustrate a point about the weakness of Rifle vs other squads not to get in a pissing contest about the specific pieces of weaponry Smiley So all the esoterica was meant to just point out how one would justify the argument. In essence screw all the dumb stuff, make rifles more powerful in basic mode  in as much as the underlying game allows.

Carry on! Smiley

In actuality, the cooldown and the reload times have been switched in-between, so it reads 3-2.5 for the reload, and 3.5-2.5 for the cooldown. I used the average number for the base.

FYI reload replaces cooldown.  Say you have a two round clip, a typical firing sequence goes like this:

Ready aim-> wind up -> fire -> wind down -> cool down ->    fire aim -> wind up -> fire -> wind down -> reload.

Whenever the clip run "dry" so to speak, the reload time replaces the cool down time.
