Grudgematch/flamegame that turned into a verbally peaceful match on St. Dumount after 1 hour of crawling and sprawling in EIRR launcher to get it going with mysterious sync errors and then 10 minutes more of diplomacy regarding the map. In the game of EIRR, half the game is already played out before you even see loading screen of Abbeville.

There's a intense 2v2 happening on the right side of the map as Smokaz crawls up the left and finally undoes all the axis defences, just to find out that Scyn and Pauli are dead and the workhorse of the match (Scyns vet 3 pershing) has turned tail and retreated. Lots of V1s, vetted allied and axis stuff and a very organized game where axis digs in across a line with indirect fire wars/sniper hunting and mg baiting goes on.

Its not very often that you can convince the elusive and secretive BD and Aloha into a game openly or on smurfs, taunts and child psychology seems to deal half damage to armor_aloha with a -50% accuracy modifier at all ranges.

In the end I think this game played out nicely for them and GJ to Baine, ever the silvertongued diplomat who managed to make this rare event a possbility.

GG, hope to do it again

Yeah .. If Field Repairs worked *cough cough* It could've stayed in the match. I also wouldn't have had to waste a lot of the game repairing it over and over And could have supported Pauli better. But alas... it appears that all other clickable purchasable abilities should have the right to be in game.. but not field repairs.

does anybody have the end-screen?

and btw, field repairs: to make them not uber (like they will be in eirr if they will work like in vcoh) the repair rate needs to be decreased and the repair duration increased---> no unkillable tanks

I don't even remember seeing the end-screen tbh.

And I agree. I just hate having to call on engineers regardless to repair the thing when I could be letting it repair with the ability that armor doctrine is supposed to get, so as not to neglect my teammates.

Tbh we could have benefited more from the Pershing acting as rear guard after the point where the CCT got destroyed and instead having you bring on your sniper and calliope which were both two hugely needed units in the right side fighting.

Pershing is 17 pop right, after your CCT was destroyed you could have fielded a maximum of 2 overrepair sappers to maintain the Pershing and then called in Calli + sniper to help with the blob. Pauli could have used his airborne and at guns to protect your sniper and calli while the pershing provided fire support. Any additional pop should have gpme towards fielding more spotting - I did have jeeps to spot around the howie to call in but I didn't imagine that you two wouldnt be conscious of spotting around it which you perhaps did but not throughly enough. 2/3 allied players not fielding hardcore indirect fire for most of the game (snipers or arty) = super fail.

End screen looked like this: Axis team with fairly even scores and allied team.. well. There was some dead meat Wink I had a defendable 20.5~ k score with scyn and pauli having 9 and 10 each.

Welll Dumount was demanded by the axis team, they wouldnt ready up if they didnt get it. Nothing wrong with that map imo.

There's a bug when the CCT dies it still takes up the pop. And you're right the calliope or sniper would've been better suited for that game.

last game I played on Dumont, probably 80-90% of the combat occured in the fields or the edge of the town, not in the area near the church...

I'm confused.
Are we talking about St. Come du Mont (By Hartkeks)? Because that's a fairly small 'city', most of the map is just plain fields.

Well first of aloha was mainly playing on the field side, second you probably have no clue of how the map looks :x

And last, if you wanna know who won you gotta watch the replay.

And gg guys, some flaws on both side, a forth and back with the Pershing and 2 Tigeraces, and whoever had the calli should have stayed with the rangers, instead of letting my P4 chase it offmap :p

Yeah but the mainfight was going on between the vet 3 pershing and the Tigeraces, resulting in two crippled Tigeraces.

They didnt want a city fight, they just imagined that howitzers would be less efficient on that map.. (from a team with around 4-6 V1s and a sniper SOLELY dedicated to spotting artillery units.)

The weird thing was that the majority of the fighting took place in the open on the right where they would have been most vulnerable to it

lol
