I know relic toyed around with boosting M10's sight so it could spot for itself, it seems the M18 is the realization of those tests.

M18 will be like hetzer, which also has 45 range and 50 range sight.

M18 gun has terrible penetration btw, its almost as bad as a 75mm sherman gun.  Only 60%ish chance to penetrate a P4 at long range.

43.5% actually... there's really no reason to use this unit unless it's like 1/2 the price of an m10. It's even worse vs Infantry than an m10. That's pretty damn impressive. A tank more worthless at killing infantry than an m10.

It's so stupid. 60% (~43% according to scyn) penetration at long on a P4 from a dedicated tank destroyer.


If it were up to me, this is one of the only units that would get an overhaul stat wise when intregrated into EiR.

Higher top speed, lighter armor, M10 main gun, no hetzer cloak

Yep, 43.6% chance to penetrate a P4 at long range with a M18.

For reference, a unupgunned 75mm sherman has 59% chance to penetrate a p4 at long range and the M10 has 91% chance to penetrate.
