im IICamshaftII now...

and since 006 patch came out the launcher causes the comp to randomly hard lock with a flickering&frozen screen.
only the launcher causes the lock up, have no problems playing in game or doing anything else.
i cant seem to iron it out, but nothing else causes a crash or hard lock.
cpu quad core, one core is usually 100% from eir launcher.
vista64
it leaves no error traces in the event viewer that i know of either, other than improper shutdown, but im no guru.
i tried the compatibility to xp for autoupdater and launcher as EIRMOD suggested, yet i still get the crashes.

help...thanks

edit: hmmmm.....maybe its the one core thats overheating that core or the cpu...
why is it running at 100% anyway?

edit: nope, not the heat...

edit: seems i had corrupted coh file/s, could not install recent relic patch -error 10244, fresh/clean coh&eir install, no problems since...
but ill shut my mouth before i find out i might have spoken too soon.....
