The hummel ones are ok but not great, and if either of them the fire one is the better of the two. Not only does barraging an area for twice as long leave you horribly exposed to Bombing runs/AB drops(remember they could be 10 second drops) but your just blasting the same area, after 1-2 shells the area is usually clear. If the scatter increased in the last 4 shells then it might be better, you could hit shit further out

Scorched Earth is all about area denial, which is what a double-length barrage will do. They won't go back in that area for quite a while.

(EVERYTHING SE has in vCoH contributes to denying area - Scorched Earth and Booby Trap deny them territory, Sector Artillery keeps them out of a sector, Hummel tells them to gtfo where they are now, roadblocks deny tanks some area.)

Engine Overdrive (Shermans can purchase flank speed, 50% faster, 20s duration)
Battlefield Improvements (Half tracks, Quads Jeeps and M8s/T17s Armour Rating Increased)
Mechanised Columns (Platoons with a vehicle, other than a jeep, arrive in battle 50% faster)
Mobility (M8s, Halftracks & T17s can capture territory)

Field Repair (Grants one use of the ability)
Allied War Machine (Minimum availability on vehicles increased by 2)
Scoot and Shoot (M10s, Shermans & M18s reload 15% faster)


Tungsten Tipping (Penetration of all vehicles increased by 20%)
Crew Repairs (Repair kit upgrade now grants 2 uses)

Next-Gen Vehicles (All vehicles have 50% faster turret rotation, 20% less reload)


this is my armor tree that allows me flexibility between light vehicles and tanks with the ultimate punch

shermans with 50% faster turret rotation that reloads 35++% faster and have 20% more penetration with availability of 6 with field repair and 2 uses of repair kit that are quick in battle are just awesome
